Ultra-widefield Optomap Retinal Imaging

Optomap imaging technology enhances eye care with ultra-widefield retinal imaging that captures over 80% of the retina in a single image, allowing for early detection of eye diseases and improved diagnostic accuracy. Buena Vista Eyecare has over 10 years of experience fitting scleral contact lenses using advanced instruments to digitize the front of the eye. Scleral lenses benefit individuals with irregular corneas, severe dry eye, or conditions like keratoconus. They rest on the sclera, creating a fluid-filled reservoir for continuous hydration and enhanced comfort, leading to improved vision clarity and reduced irritation. The large size and rigid material offer sharper vision correction for those who may not achieve optimal results with standard lenses or glasses.

Meet the next generation of dry eye treatment: IPL

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy benefits individuals with dry eye disease, especially those with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). IPL delivers controlled light pulses around the eyes, reducing inflammation, improving meibomian gland function, and enhancing oil secretion into the tear film. It also helps reduce Demodex mites and abnormal blood vessels. Many patients experience relief from dryness, irritation, and visual discomfort after IPL treatments.
